We are taking the Tuesday ride on the road and spending the day exploring Lopez Island. Our ride will start and stop at the Lopez Island Terminal with a quick lunch stop at Lopez Village. The route is a little longer than our usual weekday offering and we will have some elevation. The reward will be the beautiful island views. Given the ferry schedule constraints, we plan to keep the group together with regroups (Rest Stops) noted on the Ride with GPS route. Pace will be 12-13 mph.
Ferry Schedule
Anacortes Departure 9:35, Arrival 10:20 | Lopez Departure 2:40, Arrival 3:25
Tickets are $9.00 senior (age 65 & over) or $18.00 adult plus a $4.00 bike surcharge. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Anacortes Terminal (day of ride).
Meet-up Time
Please have your tickets purchased and queue up in front of the Anacortes terminal building no later than 9:10.
Parking at the Anacortes Terminal
Paid parking is available at the terminal (follow the signs). Riding your bike to terminal or terminal drop offs are also a good option.
Lunch
Lunch options are available at Lopez Village. Depending on the time, riders are free to find the option that works best for their interests. A meet back time will be established to allow for travel to the Lopez Island Terminal.
Important Considerations – PLEASE READ
We have a little over four hours to complete our ride. Please review the ride profile and consider your own riding abilities prior to signing up for this ride. The 2:40 return ferry is our constraint. The next ferry to Anacortes does not depart until 6:35 PM.
The Fine Print – Pre Ride Considerations
Important Note: Please make sure you cancel your registration should you not make the ride. Your courtesy will make record keeping for the $150 gift card promotion much easier.
