SBC Member RIDER ALERT Quick Notice

New communication tool

Search
We are instituting a new communication feature in the Skagit Bicycle Club website. It is a quick easy way for anyone in the Club to send a message to everyone in the Club that has an email address. I suggest that you use this means of communication if you are a Ride Leader and want to send out a map for your upcoming ride or you want to schedule an impromptu ride when a nice day shows up unexpectedly. I have attached a document with screen shots that shows you each step of posting a message.

Alternatively, if you only want to send a message to one or two people in the Club and don't know their email addresses you click on the Membership Directory button on the green menu on the left side of the home page. This opens a search function that allows you to find the contact information for anyone in the Club.

Both of these features are only available to members after you have logged in.

Questions, let me know, Phil

I am not sure if anyone will get this.

Not sure how the communication works but I am interested in cycling Lopez Island maybe tomorrow. I am slow - maybe 11 -12 (haven't ridden since last year). I've done Lopez several times in the past. I just want to get some miles in but it will be chill. I have a hybrid. Would love company if anyone wants to go. Unfortunately the ferry is about 6 am meaning I will probably have to be in Anacortes at 5:30 in line.

If anyone is interested please text me at: 206 468 6711.

I will probably not check this line again. If anyone shows interest I can make a group text.

I haven't gotten to do anything with this group yet.

I am probably more of a hiker, backpacker. I used to ride more and need to increase this as a form of

cross training for backpacking season.
