Want to first send this out to a few Classic Bike Guys before sending  to all members and include a registration form. Wanted to see that this was readable and that the graphics "showed up".

Vintage Trek Bicycles with Skip Echert

The eleventh annual Classic Bicycle Show will be held in Old Town Anacortes on Sunday, August 26th at 5th and Commercial Ave. The Classic Bicycle Show is part of the Open Streets event in Anacortes and draws a crowd of over 2000 people.

This is an opportunity for classic bike collectors to show their bikes and participate in this event.Attached is a registration form to complete and return by August 19th to the email address below.

This year we have the privilege of presenting Skip Echert, the developer of the Vintage-Trek.com website. The site contains a wealth of information about the early and newer Trek bikes; including brochures from the company’s inception in 1976 through 2012, pricing information, serial numbers, company history, and a gallery of old Treks and more. Skip will bring a sample of this information and his wealth of knowledge to the show, and we will feature a separate paddock area for classic Trek Bikes for which we have eleven spots already reserved.

The program will also include two different bike rides in the local area starting at 10am from the paddock area. The rides should conclude about the time the show opens at 11am. We will again have the “People’s Choice Awards” for the top two classic bikes in the show.

Please contact the event coordinators listed below with any questions and we will be sending out more detailed information as the event draws near. We hope to surpass last year’s record of 41 bikes at the show.

Also we will have on display three local Velomobiles, along with Gabriel and Sarah Chrisman with their early 1900’s high wheel bikes.
